HERMON
Diane Marie Devine Langley age 70, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on October 16, 1955 in Orono, she was the daughter of Charles S. and Mildred (Kitchen) Devine. Diane graduated from Orono High School in 1973. Shortly after high school she met and married her husband, Lory; with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage in June. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness and upbeat positivity, and for the deep devotion she showed to her family.
She was a loving mother to her daughter Anita, and a special aunt to her niece, Hilary. Her greatest joy came from caring for those around her, especially her granddaughters: True, Grace and Vivian.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Lory Langley, are her daughter, Anita Leadbetter and husband, Charles, of North Yarmouth; three granddaughters, several nieces and nephews, and one brother, Rory Devine and his wife, Vicky, of Hermon. In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by two brothers, Stewart and Ken Devine.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in Orono and announced at a later date. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
