Derek Thomas of Hermon, Maine, passed away peacefully on May 16th, surrounded by family at home. He was 79 years old.
Born in Kenduskeag, Maine, Derek owned several businesses and had a deep love for dozers and excavators. His work was his true passion.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara, sons Shannon and Jason, and many grandchildren.
Services will be held at Brookings & Smith, Bangor, on June 19th at 1:00 p.m.
