DENNIS "DENNY" RONALD PATTERSON

HAMPDEN - Dennis Ronald Patterson, 85 died April 26, 2025 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 17, 1939 in Bangor, the son of Fred S. and Marian Dexter Patterson.

Denny graduated from Hampden Academy, class of 1957 and married the love of his life, Deanna M. Arbo in 1960. Together they raised three children.

He was predeceased by his wife, Deanna in 2018.

Surviving are his children, Denise Hodsdon and her husband, Paul, of Asheville, NC; Vicky Thayer and her husband, Wayne, of Brewer; and Fred Patterson and his wife, Monica, of Brewer; four grandchildren, Andrew Patterson, Greg Patterson and his wife Julie, Ian Thayer, Autumn Thayer, and three special great-granddaughters, Ainsley, Hadley and Sawyer.

A special thank you to Fred and Monica for the loving care they gave Dad over the past few years as well as the compassionate staff at St. Joseph's Hospital during the last few weeks.

Friends are welcome to gather with family from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
