David Alden Keith

David Keith, 79, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on September 16, 1946, the son of Alden and Athel Keith.

David worked many years alongside his father and brothers. He was the Levant Mailman for over a decade, retiring from USPS. David enjoyed golfing with his brothers and taking long rides on his motorcycle. He loved spending time at Cathance Lake, tending to his two horses. Above all, David loved his family.

In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother, Earl Keith Sr.; and nephew, Earl 'Bubba' Keith Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Cara Duchnowski and husband, Dennis; brothers, Phillip Keith and wife, Susan, and John Keith and wife, Sandy; sisters, Valerie Lord and husband, Lester, and Julie Phair and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jarrid and Lindsay; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved cat, PeeWee.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 1-2pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. Interment will be private.
