David Cassidy, 69, passed away unexpectedly February 9, 2026 while visiting his sister. He was born in Jacksonville, N.C., September 18, 1956 the son of George H. and Shirley C. (Mann) Cassidy.
David was the great storyteller of the family. He loved to play golf. David loved his family and friends deeply. He was a man of God, and he will be missed.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Michael Cassidy.
He is survived by his sister, Catherine M. Cassidy; a nephew, Joshua M. Cassidy; a niece, Kristen Cassidy and two great nieces, Jessica and Anna Cassidy.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments, 1 pm to 3 pm. Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St. Bangor.
