Daniel Bigelow

Daniel Edward Bigelow, 60, passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1964 to James and Pauline (Teague) Bigelow.

Danny was a life-long Mainer, he graduated from Hermon High School class of 1982. He worked for the City of Bangor for 23 years, employed by Casella Waste Management for the last nine years.

Danny was an outdoorsman, a Maine Guide, and avid hunter and fisherman. He loved riding his Harley and enjoyed summer weekends spent at camp.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lori Bigelow; daughters; Jessica Cyr and her husband, Troy, Erica Gernert and her husband, Bobby, and Sabrina and her husband, Zane; son, Elijah Growe; grandchildren, Bently and Ryland Cyr, Elias and Riley Gernert, and Theodore Jones; mother, Pauline Bigelow; sisters, Diane Nason and her husband, Don, and Donna Mellott; nephew, Corey Nason; nieces, Angie Kenney and her husband, Justin, and Tracy Quillia and her husband, Danny; great-nieces, Neveah and Phoenix, great-nephews, Danny, Dillon, and Dakota. He was predeceased by his father, James Bigelow, and great-niece, Danika Quillia.

A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held from 5-8pm Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Dysart's Event Room, 1110 Broadway, Bangor, ME.
