Dale Allen Curtis, 67, went home to heaven peacefully on February 6, 2026, at home. He was born on July 04, 1958, in Dexter, the son of Floyd and Olivia (Giles) Curtis.
Dale "tailgate" graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1976. He was employed at Eastland Woolen Mill until they closed and then worked at Osram Sylvania in Bangor.
Dale is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn (Speed) Curtis; his son, Anthony Curtis and his wife, Ashley, of Exeter; and his daughter, Jennifer Easler and her husband, Travis, of Parkman; three grandchildren, Christian Easler, Emily Easler and Makenzie Curtis. Also surviving are his sister, Patricia Staples and her husband, Mylan, of Exeter; and his brother, Paul Curtis and his wife, Laurel, of Dexter; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dale was predeceased by his parents.
Dale was very thankful for his sister, Patty Staples, and his cousin, Tim Giles. They took him to his dialysis appointments each week and he greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness.
A funeral service will be held 1pm, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Exeter Full Gospel Church, 1741 Exeter Road, Exeter, Maine, with Rev. Chris Faloon officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 12 noon until time of service. All are invited to the church fellowship hall for conversation and refreshments following the service. Interment will be in the spring.
