Dain L Bryant, 59, died May 28, 2025 after a long valiant battle with Early Onset Dementia. He was born September 28, 1965, in Bangor, the son of Larry L. and Brenda (Brodie) Bryant.
Dain graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1984. Following graduation he entered law enforcement. He began his career in Orono, then on to Brewer, Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, Veazie, and Holden. He also worked at Maine Maritime Academy in Security. While working at the different departments he also owned Coys Towing. After Coys Towing he then went on to start Bryant Transportation. His spare time was spent at camp Downeast, fishing and snowmobiling as much as possible. That was where he was his happiest. Snowmobiling was his passion.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Dawn M. Bryant, are his parents Larry L and Brenda B Bryant of Brewer; Mother in Law Rita Buttery of Passadumkeag; Son Eric Bryant and his wife Alexis Bryant their children Sutton and Emerson of Benton; Daughter Jessica Munson of Cocoa, FL; Step-son Dustin Honey and Diana Viles of Buxton; Step-son Tyler and Kayla Honey and their children Noah Denis and Madison of Amherst; Brother in law "Bill" Buttery of Ohio and Brother in law Robin and Trish Buttery of Alabama; many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dain was predeceased by his grandparents Carleton and Reta Brodie, Vaughn and Adelaide Bryant, his father-in-law William Buttery Jr, and his Sister-in-law Debra Buttery.
