Cynthia Spearing

Cynthia Jane Spearing passed away unexpectedly at her home in Bangor May 12, 2025. She was born September 18, 1954 in Bangor, daughter of Juanita and James Ryan.

She was raised in Bangor where she attended school and worked. She was happily married on August 6, 1976 to Matthew "Ralph" Spearing; they celebrated 40 years together before his passing. Cindy loved gardening, camping, going on cruises, bargain hunting, gossip, and spending time with her grandkids. She often had a puzzle in progress, the coffee pot on with the TV and latest gossip magazine open to read. She loved spending time outside tending the backyard garden, feeding birds, and shooing squirrels.

She will be missed by many loved ones. Surviving are her sons Nathaniel

Spearing and his wife, Heather, Matthew Spearing, Luke Spearing, and Jason Everett; grandchildren Oscar and Hazel Spearing, Parker and Alexis Everett; siblings Melanie Stewart, Barbara Modery, Linda Averill, and Timothy Ryan; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents, her husband, and sister, Karen Cole.
