HERMON - Corinne G. "Connie" Bogan, 69, passed away unexpectedly April 14, 2025, at her home. She was born January 2, 1956, in Bangor, the daughter of Freeman and Eleanor (Carlton) Frost.
Connie grew up in Hermon, on Frost Farms, graduating from Hermon High School, Class of 1974. Shortly after, she began her career spanning over fifty years at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in several capacities ranging from a Unit Secretary on Grant 6 to a Patient Scheduling Administrator at Cancer Care of Maine.
In the spring of 1985, she met Michael "Mike" Bogan, at Nashville North. A year later, March 14, 1986, they were married, raising a blended family. As the Matriarch, she was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also quite proud of her "fur babies", constantly posting about them on Facebook.
Connie and Mike loved to spend their time traveling, four-wheeling, boating and camping, especially at the family camp on "Upper Dobsy" Lake, in Lakeville Plantation. They also attended the Fryberg Fair faithfully every year.
In addition to her loving husband and best friend, Connie is survived by her children, Emilie Carrier, Joel Bogan and his wife, Brandy, Hilary Hall and her husband, Jonathan, Kellye Grivois and her husband, Jonathan and Michael Bogan Jr.; grandchildren, Zachary and his fiancée, Morgan, Lindsi and her husband, Curtis, Jonathan, Joshua and his wife, Sarah, Matthew and his fiancée, Nikki, Elizabeth and her husband, Seth, Riley and her fiancé, Tom, Dylan, Alexis, Andrew, Lorelye and James; great-grandchildren, Emrin, Theodore and one on the way, Kayden; her sister, Cheryl Cassidy; brothers, Freeman "Buddy" III and Kevin; nieces, Tracey and Jessica; brothers-in-law, John, Arnie and Matt; sisters-in-law, Kathy, Lori and Elaine; her fur babies, Dixie, Molly, Ollie, Peanut, Cruella and Rosie, and a large extended family and several friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Tim, Jim and Rob; her in-laws, Jim and Marie and her fur baby, Cotton.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S Main St., Brewer. Interment will be private.
