Colin Anthony Gamblin, 75, passed away on March 7, 2026 at home surrounded by family. He was born September 23, 1950, in Perth, New Brunswick, the son of Carrol and Joan (Crosbie) Gamblin. Colin attended Southern Victoria schools before entering the Marine Corps and serving in Vietnam. He later took classes at vocational schools in Massachusetts. He met the love of his life, Lisa Soucy, in 1976. Together, they celebrated 41 years of marriage. He spent many years working in the HVAC-R Industry before opening his own company, Northeastern Refrigeration, in 2004 with his wife, Lisa.
Colin enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, or out on his ATV.He also loved playing cards or watching the Red Sox play, and he took many trips on his motorcycle with Lisa, as well as driving around in his beloved Tesla Cybertruck. Most of all, Colin loved his family, being a father to Danielle was his greatest joy.
In addition to his parents, Colin was predeceased by his in-laws, Gil and Pat Soucy. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Gamblin; daughter, Danielle Gamblin; sisters, Lorraine Condon and her husband, Gary, and Valerie Shepard and her husband, Larry; brother, Chris Gamblin and his wife, Lori; Sister and brother in-laws Vicki and Greg Michaud, as well as many nieces and nephews; special friends, Ron and Jan Casalinova.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 2-4pm on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave. Hampden, followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Colin Gamblin Memorial Scholarship at EMCC Foundation. Donations may be mailed to EMCC Foundation 354 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME. 04401 or at www.emcc.edu/emcc-foundation/donation/.
