Colleen Anne Laliberte

GLENBURN - Colleen A. "Dendy" Laliberte, 79, passed away peacefully February 15, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 26, 1946, in Bangor, the daughter of Earl J. and Lucille I. (Lander) Trainor.

Dendy grew up in Bangor, graduating from John Bapst Memorial High School, Class of 1964. Following graduation, she married Richard "Rick" Laliberte, April 23, 1966, celebrating almost 60 years of marriage. Rick and Dendy traveled the world while Rick served in the United States Air Force, finally settling in Glenburn, where they raised their family.

Dendy worked for many years at Boyd and Noyes Jewelers, retiring after twenty years. In retirement, she enjoyed her swimming pool, sun-tanning and Bingo. She also loved trains, devoting many years to model railroading.

Dendy was predeceased by her parents. Surviving, are her husband, Rick; children, Stephany Thompson and her husband, Tom and Richard Laliberte II and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Brandan, Riley and Richard; brother, Michael Trainor and his wife, Grace; sister, Sylvia Drew and a great-grandchild, Maya.

A Liturgy Outside of Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Brookings-smith, 133 Center St., Bangor immediately followed by the Rite of Committal in Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, 449 Ohio St., Bangor. All are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., following the graveside service.
