Charlotte Ann Bonde

ORONO - Charlotte Ann Bonde, 82, died July 25, 2026, at Magnolia Assisted Living, Ellsworth. She was born October 16, 1943, in Bangor, the daughter of Reiner A. and Miriam (Scott) Bonde.

Charlotte attended public schools in Orono and lived her entire life in Orono, except during summers when young, in Presque Isle and final year at Magnolia Assisted Living, Ellsworth. She was a life-long member of the Orono United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and studied Bible. Her life-long passion was history, particularly that of the British Royal Family.

Surviving Charlotte, are her brother, Morris Bonde (Nancy Keller-Bonde); nieces, Susan Webster Athrens (Craig), Karen Bonde Sobel (Eric), and Christina Beahm; nephews, William Bonde (Amanda), Peter Webster and Eugene Webster; great-nieces, Nora Sobel and Rachel Bonde and great-nephew, Owen Myers. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her sister, Miriam Bonde Webster and nephew, Thomas Webster.
