Brian James Perry, 60, of Bangor, Maine, passed away unexpectedly February 3rd, 2026 at his home. Born July 10th, 1965 to James Earl and Nathalie "Nat" (Burnett) Perry of Brewer Maine, both predeceased. A graduate of Brewer High School, class of 1983. He worked for over 20 years at R.H. Foster in many capacities, his last position as the Director of Inventory & Process Control, afforded him many opportunities to travel and grow.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sherrilee (Neptune) Perry; and two daughters, Jordan and Alexandra Perry. A devoted girl dad before it was popular, and a reticent cat person, he filled their lives with love and a curmudgeonly humor that is already sorely missed. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, going on little adventures around New England, and traveling more widely over the last few years with Sherri, and especially going on ventures to visit his nieces and nephews in their various college states. He liked flyfishing with his future son in law, and loved grabbing Margaritas at Las Palapas with Alex.

He is also survived by his sister, Brenda Kimball and her husband, Phillip; their children, Zackary, Kayla, Nicholas, and Jacob Kimball; his brother, Bruce Perry and his wife, Stephanie; their children, Ryan, Justin and Evan Perry; his sister, Belinda Beaulier and her husband, Joseph; and his mother-in-law, Donna Bouchard.

60 years was not enough time, but he filled every moment with humor and laughter. The world really is a little less bright without him here. The absence of his laughter is stark. He will be dearly missed.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Brian will be held from 5-7pm on Friday, February 13th, 2026 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, Maine.
