Beverly Norton

BANGOR – Beverly A. Norton, 58, passed away peacefully at her home in Bangor. She was born February 11, 1956, in Augusta, the daughter of Richard and Muriel (Mitchell) Doray.
Beverly spent many years digging blood worms on the coast for work. She enjoyed playing bingo and scratch tickets, and she was known to have a lucky streak. She also enjoyed sewing, puzzles, and spending time with the family. Beverly’s children and grandchildren where her pride and joy. She would light up talking about her grandchildren and the time she had spent with each of them. Beverly was a kind and generous person. She loved helping others and would often go without herself to help the people she loved.
Beverly is predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Jake Doray, Joe Doray and David Doray, and her sister, Virginia Sutter. Beverly is survived by her son, Keith Laney and his children Anthony and Katrina; son Donald Lovering and his wife Nicole and his children, Natachia, Syleana, Alisha, Jasmine and Zachary; son Jonathan Norton and his children William and Jonathan; son Wendall Norton and his wife Kristina and their daughter Aliyah as well as her newest granddaughter due at the beginning of the year; her brothers, Richard Doray, Clayton Doray, Rodney Doray; a sister, Eleanor Willford; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
