Bangor - Beatrice M. (Thayer) Seger, 80, died peacefully at her home on December 6, 2016 with her children by her side. She was born August 16, 1936, in Carmel, the daughter of Horace and Mona (Ross) Thayer.
Beatrice enjoyed watching her grandson race, camping and Bingo. She especially loved putting puzzles together with her special sister Wanita whom she called her “Buddy”.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Seger Sr., and eight brothers and sisters. Beatrice is survived by her five children, Bub Seger and his wife Avis, Bobby Seger and his wife Sue, Mike Seger and his wife Linda, Becky Harnish and her husband Billy, and Susie Overlock and her husband Paul; four sisters; twenty grandchildren; forty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday December 9, 2016 at the Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 Route 2, Hermon with Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. All are invited to share conversation and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service Friday. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
