HAMPDEN – Anthony D. McGilvray Jr., 37, died unexpectedly May 4, 2025, at his home. He was born June 26, 1987, in Bangor, the son of Pamela (Everett) Hicks and Anthony McGilvray Sr.
Anthony earned his GED and was in the process of studying law at an online university. When not studying, he enjoyed football, racing, baseball, and most of all, riding his motorcycle. Anthony always had a smile on his face, and was always making everyone around him smile. He was very family oriented, and was full of life.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Pam Hicks and her husband, Kenneth; father, Anthony McGilvray Sr. and his wife, Frances; his fiancé and love of his life, Jessica Ireland; his sons, Kaylob and Maddox; brothers, Phillip and his wife, Rosalita, Robert and his life partner, Christina; Joshua and his life partner, Amy; along with his distant brothers and sisters, Skylar, Nikita, Charlie, Brooklyn, Samantha and Michel, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Anthony’s Life from 3-5p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 31 Western Ave, Hampden.
