GLENBURN/OLD TOWN, MAINE- Anne Marie (Michaud) Goodie, 63, passed away peacefully, holding the hands of her husband, daughter and son-in-law on May 28, 2025, from a short illness in a Portland hospital. She was born July 2, 1961, to Ben and Annette (Marquis) Michaud.
Anne was raised in Old Town, Maine, where she met the love of her life and attended Old Town High School. She became a CNA in high school and had a true passion for caring for people. She was an angel on earth, to anyone who had the gift of knowing her. She spent her early years working at Bangor Nursing and Rehab, caring for many residents over the years; making their lives a better place with her love and compassion, like she would her own family. At her passing, she was a current CNA at St. Joseph Hospital, in Bangor for many years. Her devotion to caring for others was exhibited every day to her family, friends, patients and co-workers. Our lives will forever feel the void and miss her dearly.
Anne leaves behind a loving family; her husband and best friend of 45 years, Tom Goodie, also of Old Town/Glenburn; son, Shawn, of Glenburn; daughter, Jayme Lujan and her husband, Andrew, of Hermon; grandsons, Jaxon and Jordan Pack, of Hermon, who lovingly call her "Momo" (she loved being "Mom", but her greatest love, was being "Momo"); sisters and their spouses, Helen and Ron Leger, Susan & Fay Anderson, and Paulette & John Ferland; brothers, Tim Michaud, Bill and Tammy Michaud; sister in-law, Nancy Michaud; in-law family, Larry and Laurie Goodie, Joe and Penny Goodie and Diane Goodie and lots of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her mother and father in-law, Joe and Elaine Goodie; brothers in-law, Jim and David Goodie and his wife Sue.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 5-7p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be private. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
