LEVANT - Ann E. Dekoschak, 87, passed away peacefully May 13, 2026, at her home. She was born April 14, 1939, in Elmira, New York, the daughter of Antony and Frances (Ferguson) Tice.

Ann lived a life filled with energy, laughter, and a deep love for her community and family. A loyal member of the Eagles Club since 1972, she was a familiar and welcoming face behind the bar at the Brewer location for many years. Ann's vibrant spirit was also on full display during the holidays, whether she was playing Santa Claus at Miller's Discount or hosting lively holiday poker games with her loved ones.

An avid sports enthusiast and competitor, Ann bowled for ANZAC for over 20 years, loved a good round of golf, and spent many enjoyable hours at the harness racing track. She was also a passionate and dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox.

When she wasn't on the lanes or the green, Ann could be found enjoying a quiet book, playing a sharp game of cribbage, or busy in the kitchen. She was an exceptional baker who generously shared her talents by baking for the Women's Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and her famous zucchini bread will be fondly remembered.

Above all, Ann cherished her family. Her loved ones will deeply miss their cherished family tradition of taking her to the casino every Mother's Day, followed by a special lunch together.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Richard S. Dekoschak and her daughter, Kimberly Ann Dekoschak. She is survived by her children, Stephen Dekoschak, Christine Dekoschak, Celine (Dekoschak) Dube, and Vincent Dekoschak; grandchildren, Stephen Dekoschak II, Devon (Dekoschak) Oullette, Kari Rodgers, Kayla (Rogers) Bearce, Shawn Dube and Tanya (Dube) Matthews; great-grandchildren, Landon, Cameron, Blake, Chloe, Abigail, Gavin, Harper, Theodore and Durham and several nieces and nephews.

At the family's request, graveside services will be private in Waugh Cemetery, Levant. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
