Angela "Angie" Marie Paradis passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday May 25, 2025 after many years battling multiple health issues.
Angela was born on May 6, 1984, she grew up in Bangor and was a graduate of Bangor High school. She would proudly remind every one of her original birthplace, "I am from Boston".
Angela loved all people and made friends everywhere she went, she often persuaded less fortunate or troubled individuals to seek the Lord and find a church to belong to. Angela brightened up the world with her unpredictable, interesting, and charming ways. The love Angie had for each, and every family member was priceless. She taught us that no matter what happens today, forgive and move on. Angela loved babies and fur babies alike. Though she never bore any children, she was known to care for others and loved them with all her heart.
Angela will be missed by many loved ones. From Bangor, her mother, Marie Huckabey and her Husband Stephen, whom Angela proudly referred to as her "second dad". She knew she could count on Steve in tough times and accept her without judgement and loved her as his own.
She also leaves behind her father, John Pardis and his wife, Lisa, of Bangor. The connecting of her "step-family" brought so much joy as it gave her opportunity for a bigger family to love and make many more memories. She loved them all.
Her parents, John and Marie, were instrumental in making sure she would live a life of inclusion, though she had many challenges. If you had not ever met Angela, you knew her story by the testimonies shared by her mom. Angela was the center of her mom's universe, foregoing all matters to ensure her safety and wellbeing.
Angie also leaves behind her true love, Cory Wood of Bangor. Together they enjoyed gardening, their love for animals, and each other.
Her sister, Justine Paradis and her partner, Wayne Potter of Bangor. Her sister supported Angie in every way and showed true meaning to the word "family".
Her brothers, John Paradis of Bangor and his wife, Lisa. There supportive role was a testimony for their love for her.
One brother, J.C. from Arkansas, who she loved her dearly.
Angela also leaves behind her uncle (Godfather) Pete Bernaiche of Brewer, whose love has never wavered since the day she was born.
She has had many friends throughout her life including Steve Ferguson, that graduated preschool, middle school and high school and considered a sister. Darlene and Dorathy Day have been true to her since the very day they met.
Angela loved every niece and nephew. She will be missed by her nieces, Madalyn, Sareya and Serenity; and nephews, Landon, John and Adyen
The family would like to thank all her caregivers throughout her life, with a very special one, Tracy Lynn Sutherland, as well as 'Aunt Valarie Leeman, that constantly aided in her health and wellbeing and showed her love throughout her life.
Angela always maintained she looked forward to living in the house of the Lord with her grandmother, Marlene "Ma B" in which they shared a very special bond; and her niece, Gracelyn; and nephew, Trevor; uncles, Billy Bernaiche and Miguel Garcia.
