Winterport - Andrew Colan Ginn, 68 passed away peacefully July 14, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer. He was born January 10, 1957, son of Clinton Sr. and Mary Helen (Tripp) Ginn.
Andy worked in the woods for many years, also was a water well driller for Roger Gould, worked for Wellman paving and finally at Thibodeau & Sons for many years.
Andy enjoyed time with his wife Patty, children, grand children and great grandchildren. He loved to putter around in the yard, go for rides, out to eat and to visit family members. He loved his cat, Graycie.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Ginn; son, Robert Legassie and wife, Desiray; daughter, Mandi Thibodeau and husband, Patrick; step daughter, Samantha Preston; grandchildren, Kyle Grant and his wife, Olivia, Kody Grant and Harmony Legassie, Bryson Legassie, Brady, Olivia, Alyissa, Miranda, Ryleigh Preston, Evan Preston, Hayleigh Preston, Jacob Thibodeau, Shauni Worster, Dylan Dodge, Logan Dodge-Hafford; great grandchildren, Blake Grant, Beckett Grant, Sage Grant, Alayna Stevens, Kam and Lila Dodge, Aspen, River and Klaytin Worster; special friend, Abel Leamer; siblings, Bernard Ginn & partner, Peggy Mace, Jim and Linda Ginn, Jane and Charlie Rancourt, Mary Philbrick, Nancy & Jerry Hammond, Clinton Jr. and Ruth Ginn.
Andy was predeceased by his parents; partner Kathie Legassie; brothers, Kenneth Ginn, Dickie Ginn; sisters, Louise Bragg, Margret Parsons; Scott & Libby Preston and Ben Preston.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12pm to 3pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Jeff's Catering in Brewer.
