Amy Lynn Tatlock

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Amy Lynn Tatlock, who entered the presence of her Lord on July 16, 2026, at the age of 49.

Amy leaves behind the love of her life Andrew Tatlock. Andy and Amy had a love that ran as deep as her faith. From their romantic getaways to sunsets at her favorite place, camp. Their love story was one for the books!

Amy was born on March 30, 1977, in Howland, Maine. She lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, and service to others. She loved God with every ounce of her being, and that love was reflected in the way she cared for everyone around her. Amy had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh, and brought joy to those fortunate enough to know her.

For over 20 years, Amy faithfully served as a devoted Girl Scout leader, touching the lives of countless young girls through her guidance, encouragement, and unwavering dedication. She also volunteered as a driver for Penquis, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Above all else, Amy cherished her family. Her children were her whole world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her beloved granddaughters, Haven, Ella, and Paisley. Her love for her family was unconditional and unwavering.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Tatlock; her children, Josh Tatlock and his partner, Brynn, Christian Tatlock, Madilyn Tatlock, and Michaela Tatlock and her partner, Kristian; her cherished granddaughters, Haven, Ella, and Paisley; her mother, Linda Hanson; her siblings, Alfred "Buddy" Bernard Jr. and his wife, Sasha, Tracy Flagg and her husband, Bill, and Jodie Bernard, and partner, Alec. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred "Buster" Bernard Sr.; Father and Mother In-laws, Alan and Glen Tatlock, and special friend, Cheryl-Ann Madore.

Amy found great comfort in Scripture, and her favorite Bible verse was Exodus 14:14:

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

She also often shared the words that reflected the depth of her love: "I'll love you forever... my baby you'll be."

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Amy's faith has become sight and that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. Her legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and unwavering faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation Thursday July 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Brookings-Smith Funeral Home,133 Center Street in Bangor, Maine. All who knew and loved Amy are welcome to attend as we gather to celebrate a life that blessed so many.
