Obituary for Priscilla Ernestine "Pat" Stevenson (Jellison)
BANGOR - Priscilla E. “Pat” Stevenson, 83, passed away May 12, 2023, at a local nursing home. She was born February 25, 1940, in Bangor, the daughter of Ernest I. and Avis L. (Hazelton) Jellison.
Pat graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1958. Shortly after graduation, she jumped into family life and the many other interests that would take shape in her future. After working in the retail field for a few years, she started a 50+ year home business providing tailoring & alteration services for the US Military, as well as local Police/Fire Depts and the general public. Pat was a loyal member of the Bangor Emblem Club, #223, where she held many Officer positions including president multiple times, assisting in providing community services and support. She was also an avid supporter of several other non-profit organizations personally. Pat always put family first. She was an amazing grandmother, mother, sister, and friend that will be missed often, and never forgotten by anyone who got to know her.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Deborah Sprague; grandchildren, Josh Sprague and his wife, Nicki, Christopher Sprague and his wife, Ashley, Randy Moore and his wife, Karrie, Theodore Moore and his wife, Brandy, Kasie Stevenson, and Jessie Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Lily, Emma, Gavin, Araya, Kaitlyn, Ben, Brianna, Tyler, Troy, Mark, Memphis, and Sophia; sister, Jackie Cornforth and her husband, Jim; nieces, Theresa and Vicki; nephews, Gary and Brian; and her great-aunt, Vera Stevenson. In addition to her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her husband, Leroy O. Stevenson; sons, L. Scott Stevenson, and Mark A. Stevenson.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023, at Brookings-Smith, Bangor, 133 Center St. Graveside services will be private.
