“There is love, oh, there is love.” Mike Hughes, whose life was characterized by his fierce and unconditional love of his family, ended his journey on Friday 4/28/23. He gave without expectation, supported without hesitation, and blared his favorite music without reservation. He was known for his quick wit and playfulness, which drew a million smiles. He taught us all the importance of making life fun by being who you are and doing what you want to do. In his memory, he wouldn’t want flowers, but would instead want you do an unexpected act of kindness for someone else.
