Obituary for Eddie Hugh Lowder Jr.
Eddie H. Lowder Jr, died unexpectedly after a brief illness, April 22nd, 2023, at a Bangor hospital. He was born August 21st, 1956, in Austin, Texas, the son of Eddie H. and Janetta R. (Cammack) Lowder.
Eddie graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1974. Following graduation, he served with the US Air Force. He returned to Maine and worked for the paper mill in Old Town. He was an avid sports fan and excelled in baseball. He loved taking trips to Cape Cod and his beloved cats.
Surviving are his sisters; Cindy Fahey and her husband, John of Bangor, Susan Eldridge and her husband, Mark of Hampden, and Melinda Wood and her fiancé, Scott Subjoc; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Tammy.
The family invites relatives and friends to share in a celebration of his life with conversation and refreshments 5-7PM, Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
