Obituary for Christine Marie Hodgman (Gary)
VEAZIE – Christine M. Hodgman, 73, passed away peacefully February 22, 2023, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 8, 1949, in DeLand, Florida, the daughter of Earl Sr. and Jeanette (Gren) Gary.
Christine was raised in Bangor. She graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1967. Shortly after graduating, she married and had two children, Patrick and Wayne. Christine pursued her career as administrative accountant for various firms. In 1993, she met and married Stuart “Pip” Hodgman and celebrated almost 30 years of marriage until her passing. Christine was a selfless person, giving her spare time helping family and friends.
Surviving Christine, in addition to her husband, are her children, Wayne Bouchard and his wife, Karen, Patrick Bouchard and his friend, Robin Bouchard, and Amanda Hodgman; grandchildren, Nicholas Bouchard, David Bouchard, Tabitha Bennett, Casey Conklin, Kristin Bouchard and Camryn Bouchard; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Gary, and his friends Tom Poulin and Michael Drummond, and Earl Gary; niece, Jennifer Damon; and a nephew, Earl Gary III. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica Lazore.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Veazie immediately following the service.
