Obituary for Beverly Prue
BANGOR, MAINE – Beverly A. Prue, 71, of Eddington, Maine, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at a Bangor hospital, after an illness. She was born November 14, in Nashville Plantation, Ashland, Maine, the daughter of Harold and Elva Prue.
Beverly was Autistic and resided most of her life in Day Programs Group Homes around Bangor, since the age of 3. She never married or had children.
Beverly loved coffee, M&M’s, and going shopping.
Beverly is survived by two sisters, Joyce Pedderson-Prue and her husband, Gary, of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, and Evelyn Prue-Barney, of Ayer, Massachusetts. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Nancy Prue-Poirier, in 2018, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial with Rite of Committal will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford, MA. All are welcome to join us in saying good-bye to Beverly.
