Condolence: Although our paths hadn't crossed in many years, Gayla always had that 'princess' quality about her. She was kind, gentle, smiling, loving - always. Gayla was a true lady. Cancer is a beast that takes way too many lives and Mike and the entire family will remain in our prayers.

Condolence From: Lucie Tardif (Gayla's classmate)
Condolence: Oh, Mike, how this breaks my heart, so I can only imagine how much it breaks yours and your children's! I had no idea she was so ill or had cancer for so long. I really would have loved to see her at one of our reunions. I was always very fond of her, and her obit is just beautiful - right on the money! She had tremendous dignity, class, grace, poise, beauty and love. One classmate said she was probably the sweetest girl in our class, and I would certainly agree. Please know many of her classmates are reeling from this and hurt for you, Matthew and Mariah!
