HERMON & CARMEL – Cody Allen Brown, 26, left us unexpectedly November 20, 2018. He was born February 5, 1992, during a blizzard, in Bangor, the son of Brent J. Brown and Janet J. Bowie.

Cody graduated from Hermon High School, Class of 2010. Following graduation, he attended Beal College, majoring in Accounting. Cody enjoyed watching all New England sports teams, especially the Bruins. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling when he was younger. Cody also enjoyed many types of music, and gaming in his spare time. Cody was a kind person, who was never ashamed to say that he was a Mama’s Boy. He had a warm and loving spirit. Cody had a heart of gold, and he could make people laugh. Cody will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Cody is survived by his mom, Janet J. Bowie and Joe Drillen; father, Brent J. Brown and Staci Hallee; sisters, Danielle Withee and husband Warren, Amanda L Kelley; brothers, Patrick Watson, Jacob Morneau, Brandon Warman; grandparents, William and Susan Bowie, Allen and Elaine Brown; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his cats, Brady and Minnie.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a memorial reception, 5-7 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
