Obituary for Barry William Micue

SKOWHEGAN & HOLDEN – Barry W. Micue, 75, passed away peacefully August 12, 2018, at a Bangor hospital, with his family by his side. He was born August 12, 1943, in Lincoln, the son of Ivan and Lalia (Bowker) Micue.
Barry attended Lincoln and Bangor schools until his sophomore year. He then helped his father at the farm and in the woods. Barry served in the Army and was overseas during the Vietnam War. He worked in construction for about 12 years, then drove delivery truck until he retired. Barry enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Barry was predeceased by a brother, Paul Micue; and two sisters, Sandra Micue and Carmen Aldus. He is survived by a brother, Dwaine Micue and wife, Peggy of Oakland; a daughter, Heather Micue and significant other, Greg Depalma of Skowhegan; a son, Ronald Micue and significant other, Kim Walton of Bangor; seven grandchildren, Kesha, Keyanna, Shaun, Micayla, Amia, Kala, and Isaiah; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Greyson; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Pond Cemetery, Kanokolus Road, Unity. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
