Obituary for Lynn Marie Hathaway (Dion)

Lynn Marie Hathaway (Dion)
Lynn Marie Hathaway, 50, passed away July 10, 2018, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with heart failure due to breast cancer. She was born October 14, 1967, in Bangor, the daughter of Richard Allen and Cheryl (Dion) Fish. Lynn graduated from Central High School, in the Class of 1986. It wasn't long after that she met her husband, Chris, and began a beautiful family together. Lynn's best attribute was her capacity for love. She not only raised her family, but she opened her home to children in need. Lynn's selflessness had no limits when it came to family and friends. Lynn's ability to spread joy and love is something she instilled in everyone she met. Live, Laugh, Love. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Christopher Hathaway; children, Desirae Hathaway, Kayla Hathaway, and Chris Hathaway; brothers, Paul and Tony Allen; and a grandson, Reid Getchell. She was predeceased by a daughter, Heather Hathaway, in 2014.
Friends and family may call from 5-7 PM, Sunday, July 15, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S. Main Street, Brewer, where funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 16. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
