Obituary for Michael Alan Solomon

Michael Alan  Solomon
Hermon - Michael Alan Solomon, 52, passed away unexpectedly July 5, 2018 at home. He was born in Laconia, NH., the son of Dale S. and Carol (Frazier) Solomon.

The family moved to Hermon in 1971. Michael graduated from Hermon High School, Class of 1984. He served in the United States Marine Corp. until 1987. Michael was employed at various jobs in the Bangor area.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying the woods and all wildlife. Michael also was a very knowledgeable sports enthusiast and enjoyed the daily Crossword puzzle.

He was predeceased by his father Dale, in 2002. Michael is survived by his mother, Carol Solomon of Hermon; two brothers, Steven W. Solomon and his partner, Jeremy A. Martin of San Diego, CA, and James B. “J.B.” Solomon and his wife Lisa of Hermon; special nephew, Brandon A. Faloon of Gloucester, MA; cousins, Paul and Keith Solomon, and Denise Bosch of PA.

A funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Brookings-Smith 133 Center St., Bangor with the Rev. Jonathon B. Falk, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be private for the family. Those wishing to remember Mike in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Maine Youth Fish and Game Association, P.O Box 337, Stillwater, Maine 04468.
