Paul  Amoroso
Holden – Paul Amoroso, 63, died July 4, 2018 at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 28, 1955, in Portland, the son of Antonio and Anna Amoroso.

Paul graduated from Deering High School, Class of 1973. He enjoyed helping his community and served the Town of Holden for 30 years, spending, 16 years on the planning board and 14 years as a selectman on the Town Council. Paul retired from Bangor Optical in 2012. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling with his family and friends, but most of all, Paul loved spending quality time outside with his wife, children, and brothers.

He was predeceased by his parents. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Julie Sites of Holden; son, Camden Amoroso of Bangor; daughter, Kathryn Amoroso of Kittery; five brothers, Francis Amoroso and his wife, Betty Jean, James Amoroso and his wife, Ann, Anthony Amoroso and his wife, Susan, Joseph Amoroso and his wife, Susan, and Michael Amoroso; one sister, Vencinia Stevens and her husband Norman.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street, Brewer where a funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, officiating. The family invites all to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Rooms of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street, Brewer, immediately following the service Monday. Interment will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
