Obituary for Sean Michael Yankowsky

SEAN MICHAEL YANKOWSKY - GLENBURN
Sean M. Yankowsky died unexpectedly on June 23, 2018. He was born July 10, 1996 in Fort Kent, the son of David W. and Shelly A. (Taylor) Yankowsky.
Sean attended Glenburn Elementary and All Saints Catholic School and he graduated from Bangor High School. He loved to cook and fishing was how he relaxed.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his niece and nephew Khloe and Hayden. He is also survived by his grandmother Julie Taylor, his great grandmother Madeline Taylor, his grandfather Stanley Yankowsky and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him unconditionally.
Sean was predeceased by his brother and best friend, Adam, his grandfather, David Taylor Sr. and his grandmother, Linda Ringuette. He will be sadly missed by his dogs, Benson and Maddie.
Sean was a kind soul, always giving from his own to help someone else. He was funny and made us laugh every single day. He suffered from drug addiction and most recently depression in the loss of his big brother.
Sean and Adam are together in Heaven now. We know Adam is driving with Sean hanging his arm out the passenger side window with big grins on their faces. We are at peace knowing their internal suffering is over.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am. Thursday June 28, 2018 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share memories and refreshments in the church hall downstairs, following the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
