Bangor- Pauline C. Lodge, 87, passed away peacefully June 4, 2018, at Woodlands in Brewer. She was born February 15, 1931, in Bangor, the daughter of Maurice French and Sarah (Stubbs) Snow.

Polly grew up and attended schools in Bucksport. She was a dedicated employee of McDonalds, in Maine and New Hampshire, for many years. As a host for the company, she cherished her mornings spent with the ‘regular’ coffee crew. She loved her home and camp on Brewer Lake, was passionate about politics, and always made sure to keep her standing lunch dates with the girls, her very close friends, of 75 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Lodge Sr. “her Jack”, her soulmate. Her infant son, Frank Betts, siblings Clarence ‘Stubby’, Winnie, Don, Bob and Galen. Grandson William Boyle, son-in-law James Russell, granddaughter Sarah Russell and daughter Sandra Liles. Polly is survived by her daughter Catherine of Brewer and her daughter Alexandra; Rodney Liles of Oklahoma; Susan and Scott Hicks of Bangor and their children Nathan and Erika; John and Donna Lodge of Old Town and their children Betty Jo, Jessica and Torey; Kelly and Snook Shorey of Old Town and their children Kate and Jenny; granddaughter Ronda Barber of Oklahoma and her children Dylan, Cote and Mathew. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law Joan Cote of Naples, many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Woodlands and Beacon Hospice, for their compassionate care. Per Polly’s request, there will be no service and ask family and friends to celebrate her privately.
