Nelson Marcel "Junior"  Violette Jr.
Nelson “Junior” M. Violette Jr., 71, passed away May 13, 2018, at his home. He was born June 28, 1946, in Bangor the son of Nelson M. Violette Sr. and Vergie M. (Bergel) Violette.

Junior worked for Osram-Sylvania for 30 plus years as a mechanic. He was the kind of guy that could fix about anything. Junior was excellent at working with his hands from machining a metal part to making something out of wood. His favorite past time was tinkering with projects in his garage. He had a love for music and followed NASCAR.

He is survived by his children; Marie Moulton and husband Brian from Winchendon, MA, Dan Violette and wife Heidi of Hermon, Jim Violette and wife Jen of Hermon; siblings, Virginia Grant of Bangor, Mary Ouelette and husband Gerard of Southington, CT, Nancy Delaney and husband Jim of Carmel, David Violette of Orono; four grandchildren, Alec, Cody, Bentley, and Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Mike, a brother-in-law, Norman, and a sister-in-law Cheryl.

Graveside memorial services will be held 9 AM, Sat, May 19, at Locust Grove Cemetery, Main Street, Hampden, followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at Dan’s home, 123 Fuller Road, Hermon. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
