Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Claudia's passing. I have fond memories of talking with Claudia at the Roger's Farm garden about plants but lots of other things too. She was so enthusiastic about her plants in the Moon Garden, and would call us over to see interesting plants like the one that opened up in just a few minutes and the one that smelled like peanut butter. She was a wonderful cook, and I got to help her with prep work a couple summers when we had big festivals at the garden! My sincere condolences to Marv, who I miss seeing at Hannafords, and her daughter Erin who she was so proud of.

Condolence: Sincerest condolences to Claudia’s family. I was a classmate of hers at Deering High, and she was a fine person even as a teenager. So sorry to learn of her passing in the Portland Press Herald.

Condolence: Reading Claudia's obituary unleashed a flood of childhood and high school memories. Her dad",Tony", gave most of us in the Ocean/Washington Avenue our first and hundreds of subsequent haircuts. He was also a sort of mentor to us boys- urging us to do well in school and to help our friends with homework and so forth.I lived next door to his shop and visited often. When Claudia and Lucille and their brothers began to visit we had many fine times. Claudia and I went on to Deering, as did Lucille.Tony was forever proud of his kids and it was not surprising to learn in Claudia's obituary that she had such varied and wide ranging interests and accomplishments. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
