Elizabeth D. Catlett, 78, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side February 20, 2018. She was born September 25, 1939 in Randolph, VT to Wilmond and Alice (Dean) Parker.
Elizabeth was a hospice volunteer for more than 25 years, proudly serving in Lancaster, PA and the Bangor, ME area. She loved to spend time with her family and her favorite past time was to bird watch. Elizabeth was an active member of the Orono United Methodist Church where she also sang in their choir.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one sister, Elinor (Parker) Jamieson and one brother, George Parker. She is survived by her husband, James T. Catlett of Orono; one daughter, Jennifer Netzley and husband, Gene and their two daughters, Liliana and Lauren of Lancaster, PA; one son, Geoffrey Catlett and wife, Melissa of Charles Town, WV, and their two sons, Tristan of Charles Town, WV and Jeremy of Bangor, ME.
A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held at the Orono United Methodist Church, date and time to be announced later in the spring.
