Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Darla Jean Blakeman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Karen Lamb Webb
Condolence: So sorry to learn of Darla's passing. She was a sweet and fun gal. I remember the good ole' days when we were all in Washington, D.C. working for the government. Darla was a couple years older than I but she did a good job of showing me the ropes of city life and work; Saturday nights in Georgetown partying and rides home to Philipsburg. RIP my dear friend.

Condolence: my condolences to Linda. Darla and I both graduated together in '67 in the secretarial curriculum at POHS. After graduation we both went to D.C. but to different government agencies. We re-connected at our 50th class reunion his past year So glad I got to see her one more time. We started playing Words with Friends on FB and did an 'occasional' chat. Little did I know she was sick. She never mentioned her illness and I was so shocked to hear of her passing! Always laughing and a smile on her face is the way I will remember Darla.
