Jeffery Thomas  Osborne
WINTERPORT and BANGOR - Jeffery Thomas Osborne, 55, died December 22, 2017, at an Orono healthcare facility. He was born November 21, 1962, in Bangor, the son of Phillip Henry and Carlene Lorraine (Lane) Osborne.

Jeff graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1981. Following graduation, he attended Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute where he earned an Associate’s degree in Refrigeration, graduating in 1983. Jeff worked many years at Maine Fire Protection in Bangor, eventually becoming co-owner towards the end of his working career. He also had a passion for sports. Jeff was a parent coach for the Hampden Academy football team while his son, Matthew, was on the team. He also coached youth Soccer in Hampden, and Rec Basketball and Little League Baseball in Winterport. He enjoyed his New England sports teams, especially the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics.

In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by a daughter, Meghan Fox and husband Nick; grandchildren, Lilly, Claire, and Jack Matthew; brothers, Phillip Osborne and wife Vicki, and Michael Osborne and wife Juliette; sister, Melissa Kneeland and husband Adam; and many nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his father, and his beloved son, Matthew Ryan Osborne ”27”.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7pm, Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 70 Western Avenue, Hampden Saturday, December 30, at 11am. Interment will be in the spring at Eddy Cemetery, Eddington. Following the mass, relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Parish Hall at St. Matthews.
