The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stephen Zadravecz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Stephen Joseph Zadravecz

Stephen Joseph  Zadravecz
Stephen “Steph” Zadravecz, 71 of Molasses Pond Eastbrook passed away October 11th, 2017. He was born July 22nd, 1946 in Bridgeport, Connecticut the son of Stephen Zadravecz and Julia Nemetz Zadravecz.

Steve moved to Maine at the age of 3 when his parents purchased The Molasses Pond House. He graduated from Lee Academy and joined the Navy Seabees at McMurdo Station in Antarctica serving in Operation Deep Freeze. Steve worked for Atlantic Builders as a carpenter supervisor. He truly enjoyed running his family business with his Life Partner, Joanne Spizio loving their campers like family.

He was predeceased by his parents, sister Ann Torok and husband Frank and nephew Bobby Torok. Survivors are his “favorite” niece, Susan Nelson and her husband, John Noonan, nephews: Frank Torok, Larry Nelson and wife Natalie, Dion and Chris Noonan, Anthony Nelson, Ethan Fancher, Hunter Noonan and Michael, Shaun and Heather Torok. Dear to his heart were Scotty and Sierra Firley who were just like his own children and their mother, Virginia, his two Navy buddies: Ralph Fields and Jerry Macomber, all of his Molasses Pond family as well as his Kentucky Fondaw family.

Graveside services are Saturday October, 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the family lot on Sugar Hill Road, Eastbrook. Fellowship and Conversations will follow at the Eastbrook Community Center with light refreshments.
