Some of the fondest memories I have, of my step-father, are going to Tent Village in the summer and spending time with my step-sisters. We were young and foolish and had great times there. Dad loved going there and setting everything up, he was so proud of those times he was able to provide fun and laughter for his family. Any time he was teaching us to fish, ice fish, snowmobile, hunt...all the outdoor activites he loved, he was right in his element. As you know, he could talk for hours about such things! He also taught me how to drive a stick shift, imagine, him having the patience to teach a teenage girl how to drive a standard lol, but he was great! I went on to teach my own children! I remember how proud he was of his dogs. How he trained them so well and loved to brag about how great they were, and they were great!!! Bobby and Magnum were wonderful dogs! Dad was really good with our boys when they were born. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow and learn. Hulme and I were married right under the apple tree in the backyard. I remember the good times and I'm grateful for the memories. May he rest in peace and rejoice in the love of the Lord.
