Condolences

Condolence From: Tony P. Spagnolia
Condolence: I served with Paul in the Air Force at Phu Cat Air Base, Vietnam in 1971. He was my training NCO. Recently, while going through my AF records, I found a copy of an performance evaluation he wrote about me. Seeing his name on the document, I wondered where life lead him. After some research, I was saddened to read of his passing. I remember him as being a kind and caring individual who helped a 21 year old (at the time) adjust to the realities of being in Vietnam and so far from home. I'm sure he shared those same qualities with family, friends, co-workers and anyone he met. Thanks, Sarge.

Condolence From: Al Raddi
Condolence: Paul and I collected the same type of coins - Lincoln Cents with re-punched mint marks. Although we met only one (at the ANA Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs in the late 1990s, we corresponded often, traded many coins, and were in the same error and variety coin collectors club. Paul was a very knowledgeable collector, worked hard for the club, and was a lot of fun. Many collectors - me especially - will miss him.
