Brewer - Arleen M. (Lawrence) Patterson, 89, wife of the late Ralph Patterson, Sr., went home to her Lord, June 13, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born, February 7, 1928 in Winterport, daughter of Walter and Annie Rose (Edmonds) Lawrence. Arleen was a graduate of Brewer High School, class of 1946. She was employed with the A & P Tea Company for 28 years, retiring in 1977. After that, she enjoyed living in Florida and traveling with Ralph. Arleen was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended the East Eddington Community Church. For the past 12 years, Arleen has made her home at the Ellen M. Leach Home, where she has had very special friends. She enjoyed putting together puzzles with David, Ed and others. A special thank you to Clayton Rogers and Ed Campbell for taking her to the monthly high school dinners over the years, and to Dr. Stephen Comeau for his compassionate care of our mother. Surviving are a son, Larry Bradman of Bangor; a daughter, Dawna (Bradman) Clapp and her husband, Eric of Amherst; grandchildren, Josh Clapp and his wife, Meghan, Erika Clapp Richardson and her husband, Brian; great grandchildren, Summer and Aurora Richardson and Tucker Clapp ; two cousins, Robert Foster of Eddington and Charlene Allen of FL.; three step-daughters, Judy Adams and her husband, Robert of North Brewer, Betty Igoe of Brewer and Mary Pelletier of MA.; a step-son, Ralph Patterson, Jr. and his wife, Diane of Glenburn; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
