CARMEL – Randy J. Campbellton, 61, passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1956, in Dexter, the son of John S. and Nora (Golding) Macdonald.

Early in life, Randy served his country in the United States Navy, and then later in the Navy Reserves. After leaving the Navy, he worked for Mechanical Services for 38 years as a HVAC technician. Randy enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply doing yardwork around his house.

In addition to his parents, Randy was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Roger Boone. Surviving are daughters, Tera Murphy of Etna, Carolyn Charlonis and husband James of Hurleyville, NY, and Mindy Campbellton of Carmel; grandchildren, Kristin, Megan, Alison, Jimmy, Jacob, Lindsey, Caitlyn, Cassie, Olivia, and Isabella; brothers, Bruce Macdonald and wife Jan of Hermon, and John Macdonald Jr of Tuscon, AZ; sisters, Brenda Macdonald Mellick of Memphis, TN, and Valerie Macdonald Boone of Stetson.
