BANGOR AND BREWER - Marlene I. Beckwith, 79, passed away peacefully April 18, 2017, at her home. She was born November 16, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of Rueben and Clara Cohen. Marlene graduated from Bangor High School. Following graduation, she attended Husson College where she obtained a degree in office administration. Marlene, along with her husband Ralph Beckwith, owned the Brick Oven Bakery for over 30 years providing the Greater Bangor community with quality rolls and bread. She loved animals and was very passionate about gardening and house plants. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Cohen. Surviving is her brother William S. Cohen, of Washington D.C.; her sons James Beckwith and his wife, April, of Milford; Mark Beckwith, of Hampden; five grandchildren, Kara Beckwith, Lauren Beckwith, Jack Beckwith, Danielle Davies, and Nathan Davies; many nieces and nephews.
