Debra Calvi-Gaudet
Bucksport
Debra D. Calvi-Gaudet, 63, passed away April 8, 2017, after a brief illness. She was born in Bangor, November 14, 1953, daughter of Donald G. and Barbara (Smith) Calvi.
Debra graduated from Brewer High School and the University of Maine, Orono. She was employed in the dietary department at EMMC for 10 years and later for 15 years, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth.
Debra loved her cats and was always advocating for animal welfare. She enjoyed driving her sports car and venturing to see new places along the coast.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Barbara of Orrington; are her husband, Steven Gaudet of Bucksport; a stepson, Jonathan Gaudet of Bucksport; one brother, Donn Calvi and his wife, Marie of Rochester, NH.; nephews, Matthew Sibley of Brewer, Ben Kellher of Prospect, James and Mike Calvi and a niece, Margo Calvi, all of North Carolina.
Debra was predeceased by her father; a sister, April Calvi and a brother, Marc Calvi.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where relatives and friends are invited to call 1 pm. until time of service.
Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME. 04401.
