Obituary for Chester Arthur Terrill

Chester Arthur  Terrill
HERMON-Chester Arthur Terrill, 90, of Hermon, passed away on March 20, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones. Chet was born on April 30, 1926 in Brewer, the son of George and Daisy (Grant) Terrill. Chet was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Chet was a talented woodworker, and was also known for his skills in cutting shoes. In fact, he worked cutting shoes until he was 86 years old. Chet's greatest pride and joy was his family. He spent many hours attending his grandsons' sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annie (Treadwell) Terrill. He is also survived by one sister, Avis Mower and her husband Frank of Bangor, one son, Arthur Terrill and his wife Cathy of Orono, and one daughter, Joyce Allen and her husband Mark of Hermon. Three grandsons, Jason Allen and his wife Alycia of Pittsfield, Barry Terrill and his wife Mathy of Machias, and Brandon Terrill and his wife Madilyn of Augusta. Great-grandchildren Colton and Cooper Allen, Delaney, Griffin, Anika and Silas Terrill, and Kassandra Eberhart. He also is survived by special extended family, Amy Cyr, Stacey Atwood, and their families. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including one nephew, special to him, Kenny Terrill of Glenburn. A special thank you to hospice of EMMC for their kind and compassionate care.
