Harriet Alice  Sucy (Sucy)
Old Town – Harriet A. Sucy, 85, died at a Bangor hospital March 11, 2017. She was born September 11, 1931, the daughter of Kenneth and Irma (Powers) Sucy. She was raised in Bradley, and resided in Old Town for the past 10 years.

Over the years, Harriet was an active member of the Easter Star, TOPS, and the Bradley Baptist Church. She loved socializing with her many special friends at the River House apartments, and recently began monthly painting classes.

In addition to her parents, Harriet was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Clayton Sucy, Jr.; and daughters Helen Begin and Linda Mae. Harriet is survived by her son Kenneth Bloodsworth and wife Lorraine, and their son Shawn, of Bradley; granddaughter Jennifer Beal and husband Robert and their children, Matthew, Conor, and Taylor, of Florida; a brother, Ronald Sucy, of Bangor; and a son-in-law, Omer Begin, of Florida.

A celebration of life gathering will be held 1-3 p.m. Friday March 17, 2017 at the River House community room, 120 Main St., Old Town.
