Obituary for Joan Elizabeth Cooper
Joan Elizabeth Cooper, 68, formerly of Weymouth, MA., passed away January 12, 2017, after a brief illness. She was born in Lynn, MA., November 12, 1948 the daughter of John A. and Winifred (Soanes) Blood. Joan retired after 28 years of service with Verizon. She was an avid Patriots fan and doted on her beloved dog, Bailey. She enjoyed classical music and movies. Surviving are, her only child, Lori Kennedy and her husband, Joseph of Orland; two grandchildren, Katarina Elizabeth Lee and Michael John Lee, both of Weymouth, MA.; four cousins, Ruthie Elliott of Billerica, MA., Pattie Richardson and her husband Glenn of MI, Heidi Clifford and her husband, Billy of Sandown, N.H., Chuck Blood and his wife, Megan of Marblehead, MA.
